Congratulations to Dr. Faizy for being awarded the 2020 German Research Foundation Grant to support his ongoing work in the Heit lab! Dr. Faziy is studying microvascular perfusion in ischemic stroke patients and whether imaging biomarkers of the ischemic perfusion cascade can be used to predict outcomes in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Dr. Jeremy Heit serves as Dr. Faizy's faculty mentor on this project. Congrats, Toby!
